Getting stuck into the garden - my favourite part

love gardening.

After Summer, we will pull out the old overgrown woody pitostrom and plant some lillypilly

Putting in some climbing roses

And some herbs along the wall

First priority - putting in a proper herb garden as below! Also putting in a few apple trees :)
Below - start of the herb garden, note the birds nest in the vines above it...

Against the garage wall, we've planted apple trees in wine barrels and just beyond that is our old jasmine in a pot.

Birds love our garden...there are at least 2 nests so far, one with a little speckled blue egg in it! Saturday - discovered a nest in our potted jasmine plant.

Sunday - discovered a bird had laid a little speckled blue egg in it!

Also found a little baby blue tongue lizard...
