So...we've installed safety switches and are in the process of replacing all the dodgy lights.

Removing carpet is a total &*()$*!! especially all those staple thingies left behind...the smell is going though...

Rather funny...obviously at one point, a lazy house owner decided to stain the floorboards but couldn't be bothered lifting the rugs so jsut stained around them. Result? Large areas of board which outlines old rugs...

Like a hallway runner! Ha ha how lazy is that!!
